Have you ever noticed that wearing spandex swimsuits is becoming one of the most natural things for guys to do on the beach? There used to be a time not too long ago where wearing something like this was frowned upon deeply. Now, though, there are all kinds of guys wearing them. Just the other week I saw a whole group of guys playing volleyball that were wearing spandex and I was amazed. To think that they all got together and decided that wearing spandex was the best thing to make their volleyball game more exciting is just awesome to me.
In truth, none of those guys probably discussed wearing men’s spandex swimsuits for any reason. They most likely just got together and wanted to hang out at the beach and wore whatever they had ready to them. But I like to think that there was a concerted effort to get people used to seeing these designs and they actually talked about what they were going to wear and what they were going to do on the beach while wearing them. I like to read into things like that to make life seem a little more interesting to me, even if that isn’t even close to what happens in reality.
I am glad to see more guys wearing spandex swimsuits these days and it makes me want to break mine out and hit the beach. I haven’t bought new spandex designs in a while so I probably wouldn’t be fitting in with anyone out there but I could still enjoy a day out. I’m also too old to be playing volleyball but I could wear my spandex and sit on the sideline and watch the younger guys having fun. I don’t mind being able to do that anymore and I would end up getting a great tan in the process.
